Truly, the war accelerated the processes with which human lives could be saved, missing body parts replaced, a human aesthetically reshaped, physical pain eased. Of course, a fight like this only brings partial success: there are things medication is always useless for. On the other hand it turned out that despite every humanist slogan of the 19th century, a person’s life may worth less than a life of a farm animal. War has shown that reality of words is often only the reality of an illusion.
